Come paint with us and support Freedom Rings Rescue’s Spay/Neuter Assistance Program. This is a fundraiser class and a large portion of proceeds will go to the rescue. You will be taught this class in a step-by-step class that is fun and easy! You can choose cotton, hydrangeas OR spring flowers to put in your mason jar!

We will be welcoming Nancy Thompson back for another great watercolor workshop! The cost of the workshop will be $225. We will have a fun-filled 3 days together from 10am-3:30pm daily! This exciting workshop will focus on floral painting techniques. These techniques are helpful in all areas of watercolor painting. Wonderful washes and color will help freshen up your paintings. Learn ways to make your watercolors bold and exciting. We will be doing excercises and finished paintings. Take your painting to the next level! You send us pictures of your beloved pet and we draw it for you before class. During the class we will step you through painting your pet!
You must send us the following by (one week earlier than class…Mon. Feb. 12th by noon).
1. 3-5 GOOD QUALITY photos of your pet. (see picture taking tips below.)
2. Tell us which one is your favorite pose.
3. Tell us what size canvas you want: 16x20 or 11x14?
This just depends on where you want to hang your picture.
Tips on taking a good picture of your pet.
1. Have good lighting…. preferably outside, but if inside, have all the lights turned on.
2. If outside, make sure the pet is not in your shadow.
3. Have someone help you hold the animal in position….they often run towards us when we kneel down to their level.
4. Get a nice sitting position or picture of face.
Choose from our many wood cut outs and create your masterpiece! You should come with an idea of what you would like to paint...research on Pinterest or google and we will give you all of the tools and instruction you need! Call some friends and let's make it a party!
